Why there aren’t viruses for Macs — it’s not because of low market share.
Apple haters love to claim that there are no viruses for Macs because there are so few compared to Windows machines. Virus creators are in the business because of ego. And what would be a bigger ego boost than being the first to create a widespread OS X virus? (via News dugg by lseeley)
