Why didn’t I see any ads for these awards? I would’ve expected some kind of notification akin to the one used to promote the beta of this current dashboard. Best Tumblelog Design  : tmblg Best Tumblr Theme Designer  : http://tumblize.com/ Suggest a category?  : Best Original Images Suggested Category Nominee : Sadcat I voted http://www.saddestcat.com/ in for “Best Original Content/Editorials” even though originally i had Boner Party in there…there should be a category separate from “Best Image Posts” that is something along the lines of “Best original artwork” or “best self created images” or something of that ilk…something for the people who are posting THEIR original image content that is a category separate from the people who reblog amazing images they find around the web. Because though yimmyayo DOES have one of the best image-only tumblrs i was torn between it and sadcat, because i love the sadcat comics and they’re images too so they fall under that category, but yimmy is reblogged whereas sadcat is original…which i think should be a different category.maybe make “Best Original Editorials” one category and “Best Original Images” another. heck, throw in a “Best Original Audio/Video” and “Best Original Art” categories too. I think that this would be a great way to encourage more people to post their original content on Tumblr.
