Copyright Board of Canada gives thumbs-up to “iPod tax”

The Copyright Board of Canada released its decision today on whether iPods and other digital music players can be subject to a levy meant to compensate musicians for their efforts. It gave the go-ahead for Canada’s government to create the levy, but also made some worrying comments about cell phones and computers potentially falling under (via News dugg by lseeley)
