My biggest complaint with the old tumblr design was the fact that I had to click through the radar to get to my dashboard. I think it makes more sense, at least in my situation, to visit my dashboard first and then the radar later if I’m still thirsty. That being said, I think the new explore page is more interesting, but in the end, feels more like a compilation of tech demos; Who the fuck browsers photos by colour? No one, it’s just a neat thing.

I really miss the old Tumblr Radar. I think the new Explore section is neat, but it isn’t as consumable; you have to click around way too much to get to the interesting stuff. I loved the simplicity of the old radar. There are days where I’m way too busy to keep up to date with my dashboard, and the Radar offered a nice quick way to get a taste for the day’s posts. I’m not feeling the Explore section. Who’s with me?
