What do the following blogs have in common?
That’s right! They all have themes that cost $999, but do not include a home link anywhere.
I know the Tumblize thing is old now, and no one with a shred of sense actually hires them — for full price, at least, I know at least a few of their clients were given steep discounts (ouch) — but I thought that was just fucking incredible. I didn’t bother checking all of their blogs, but of the ones I did look at: two did have home links, but another two didn’t even use their themes anymore (ouch).
I actually made The Wizard theme, for free, for my real-life-friend Simon. As for the other two themes, I believe those were created well before Tumblize came to be as standard client work. I used to work with Andrew (in person), but didn’t pay too much attention to those projects. It should also be noted that Metalab did release a free and very beautiful theme.
